James E. “Jim” Shapiro is a founding partner in the Firm and a resident of Henderson, Nevada. He obtained his Bachelors of Science degree in Accounting from Weber State University in Ogden, Utah where he graduated cum laude. Mr. Shapiro attended Brigham Young University’s J. Reuben Clark Law School, where he was a Merit Scholar and the Managing Editor of Publications for the Journal of Public Law, and where he also graduated cum laude.
Mr. Shapiro focuses his practice in the areas of real estate, corporate, business and banking law. He has more than 20 years of experience in complex litigation and in assisting clients navigate through challenging business and real estate transactions, including partnership disputes, representing a wide variety of business and property owners. Mr. Shapiro handles lawsuits at all levels, including appeals and has appeared and argued before the Nevada Supreme Court. Mr. Shapiro is a member of the Nevada and Utah State Bar Associations.
